NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:

If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.

If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.

Salary Range:

$101,400 - $201,400

*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.

What Your Job Will Be Like:

We are seeking a dedicated Solutions Architect with ServiceNow expertise to provide technical leadership to our Enterprise Service Management organization and ServiceNow platform at Sandia. Join a team implementing and growing ServiceNow capabilities and developing creative solutions to unique national security challenges!

This role applies expertise in ServiceNow design and development principles to enable collaboration with key customers. A focus on ITSM, ITOM, SPM modules, and platform integration with Sandia systems & services will ensure a well maintained & governed solution while focusing on a seamless end user experience.

On any given day, the candidate may be called on to:

  • Capture requirements & suggest solutions using ServiceNow standard processes

  • Evaluate, analyze, and develop IT services solution proposals

  • Provide leadership mentoring and perform peer code reviews

  • Drive creation of relevant and significant solution architectures, and re-usable workflows

  • Carry out architecture governance structures, methodologies, and compliance activities to maintain regulatory compliance

  • Maintain technical architecture documentation for new requirements and build framework/templates for capturing information to support implementations

  • Create/maintain API & data integration processes between ServiceNow and other services

  • Collaborate with ServiceNow Impact program concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform

    The selected applicant can be a remote worker located in any U.S. State or District of Columbia. Regular or periodic travel to your assigned work location may be required.

Qualifications We Require:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering or relevant field plus 5 years relevant experience or equivalent (AS+9, or no degree + 13 years)

  • Included in the experience above:

  • 3 years working with ServiceNow configuration, administration, and development

  • Experience with one or more of the following modules: IT Service Management (ITSM); IT Operations Management (ITOM); and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)/IT Business Management (ITBM)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance

Qualifications We Desire:

  • Experience with the ServiceNow Employee Center/Service Portal, including development of catalog items, data validation, workflow, approvals, and scheduling

  • Experience with other ServiceNow modules, including IT Asset Management, Procurement, Governance/Risk/Compliance, Security Operations, etc.

  • Development in following areas: Business Rules, Access Control Rules, Script Includes, Script Action, UI Actions, UI Scripts, UI Policy, Data Policy, Client Scripts, UI Macros, Web Services, Glide Record, Workflows, Encryption, Notification, Reporting, MID Server, Discovery/Service Mapping, SSO/LDAP, custom applications

  • Support web services system integrations using the Integration Hub to assist in data management, asset/CI integration, etc.

  • Ability to customize workflows, code business rules and UI scripts (JavaScript) to create custom applications and configurations

  • ServiceNow and ITIL knowledge/certification

  • Possess a strong dedication to positive teaming dynamic, strong written and verbal skills, detail oriented with a keen focus on customer service

We provide enterprise service management services to Sandia, including enterprise logging services, IT service management, IT operations management, and 24x7 monitoring in the system operations center (SOC). The team applies an agile approach to deliver and support these enterprise services and related processes.

Security Clearance:
