On any given day, you may be called on to:
Utilize risk, requirements, and configuration management information to deliver data delivery, ETL, data transformation, visualizations and reporting, and Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) solutions to the Corporation.
Research, develop, architect and design custom solutions to support enterprise business development solutions for the organization.
Research, assemble, and evaluate information or data regarding industry practices or applicable regulatory changes and recommend sound, practical solutions to complex issues.
Define systems requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
Define technical standards and functionality tests, and to develop specifications, prototypes, or initial user guides.
Resolve issues that require architectural changes.
Research solutions for problems that span multiple domains such as information assurance, hardware, software development, systems programming, data management, database development, systems security, networking, and telecommunications.
Provide architectural direction for information systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years' experience; or higher degree (MS, PhD) in relevant field; or experience and/or achievements that demonstrate the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties of the job.
Experience with COTS implementation and administration
Knowledgeable with Web Services (JSON/REST)
Experience with SQL and (PL/SQL, T-SQL)
Ability to acquire and maintain a DOE L level clearance
Knowledge of business management processes and standard methodologies in order to support migration of COTS
Demonstrate strong work ethics; good negotiation skills with ability to build trusting relationship and partnership with teams and customers
Demonstrate strong critical thinking, synthesis and problem-solving skills, and ability to see and convey the big picture
Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused operation
Ability to work and communicate effectively in a collaborative and interdisciplinary team environment
Knowledge of and experience with the full software development life-cycle using iterative or agile methods
