NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:
If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.
Salary Range:
$162,200 - $275,900
*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
What Your Job Will Be Like:
Are you a hardworking, experienced leader with a background in Facilities Maintenance? If so, Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) is seeking a key leader as a Senior Manager, Facilities, to continue the great work in our maintenance team!
On any given day, you may be called on to:
Supervise and mentor managers and members of the workforce within the Infrastructure Services in close coordination with the other two Senior Managers and Director.
Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition and disciplinary actions.
Ensure that customer needs are satisfied safely and securely, through handling and coordinating specific deliverables, overall program and project plans, budgets, structures, schedules, and staffing requirements.
Lead and run elements of facilities operations, including safety, sustainment, long-range development, infrastructure maintenance program development and execution, building code enforcement and application, mechanical, structural, electrical and fire protection program development and execution, and utility management and power distribution.
Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
Qualifications We Require:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as Engineering, Electrical, Architecture, Construction Management, or other technical discipline, plus ten (10) or more years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Five (5) years of knowledge and demonstrated experience in maintenance and leading/managing people.
Expertise and competency in the maintenance, operations and sustainment of mechanical, electrical and/or structural building systems.
Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOE L-level security clearance.
Qualifications We Desire:
Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or other technical field.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and complete multiple programs and projects.
Demonstrated experience to model behaviors that reflect Sandia's core values.
Ability to mentor and align the management team and senior-level exempt professionals on future needs of the group.
Knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of Sandia's safety and security rules and guidelines.
Expertise with utility management, operation and maintenance.
Experience in analyzing and managing worker safety and represented craft workers.

The Maintenance Group manages and delivers maintenance support to the Laboratory through the Facilities Management Team model. This includes mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, architectural, and roads and grounds services.
