The High Reliability Custom Technologies department designs and develops custom capacitors and magnetics (e.g. transformers of various types, inductors, solenoid coils, etc.) for nuclear weapons and other national security applications. The department covers the complete product realization cycle including requirements, design, development, specification, qualification, procurement, delivery, and stockpile support. We work closely with our partners at the Kansas City National Security Campus, the Sandia External Production program, and our suppliers to realize product. We support our customers by providing innovative designs, production techniques, and hardware for new programs while continuing the development, production, and surveillance of current and legacy components. We are advancing new technologies for next generation product insertion opportunities. Defect prevention strategies are engrained in our work and design margins are quantified.
