Sandia National Laboratories Purchasing Support (Experienced) in Albuquerque, New Mexico
We are seeking an experienced individual for a Purchasing Support position.
On any given day you may be doing the following:
Oversees the administration of less-complex cost-type or fixed price service contracts.
Plans and implements procurement actions under the guidance of a Sandia contracting representative.
Follows up on orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, performs price audits, and maintains necessary records.
Closes contracts, reduces commits on contracts to invoiced amount, follows up on invoicing and receiving of goods or services.
Assists with cost transfers and commit reclassification as needed.
Support other supply chain activities, as requested.
Demonstrated ability to work with a team.
Knowledge of business administration procedures, techniques, and business ethics.
Knowledge of the formation and administration of purchase orders.
Experience and demonstrated skill in conducting research, investigating alternative solutions, and recommending solutions to problems affecting administrative activities related to subcontracts.
Strong customer service skills.
General knowledge of Sandia and National Nuclear Security Administration policies, directives, management instructions, procurement and subcontract procedures.
Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize projects.
Requires high school diploma plus three or more years of directly related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance.
