Sandia National Laboratories Product Quality Assurance - (Entry/Mid-Career) in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Org 7561, Inventory Management and Logistics Value Stream (IMLVS), is seeking technologists for a Product Quality Assurance position. You will act as a technical resource supporting all aspects of IML incoming material processing and acceptance activities. Your duties will include processing received material from suppliers, managing the execution of a multitude of quality inspections, reviewing inspection data, collaborating with inspection vendors, driving vendor performance, and working closely with engineering and logistic teams to solve issues, define new inspection criteria, and improve processes.
High School diploma
Able to acquire and maintain a Department of Energy Q-Level security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or related engineering field.
Experience working in a quality inspection, or other engineering role.
Familiarity and experience reading and interpreting quality criteria.
Possess well-developed social and communication skills; and able to work with a diverse team environment as well as an ability to build and manage effective working relationships.
Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced/schedule driven environment on multiple simultaneous activities, prioritizing work as appropriate.
Experience with testing/inspection methods, interpretation of results, data inputting, and reviewing drawings.
Detail oriented person excel at this position.
Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills, with the ability to develop and present ideas and results in oral and written form.
Knowledge of Oracle, or other inventory planning system (e.g. SAP).
Active security clearance.
The Inventory Management and Logistics Value Stream Department (IMLVS), Org. 7561, is responsible for production stores and materials operations that support the Neutron Generator (NG) Enterprise and other NW production partners. The organization is responsible for assuring the integrity and traceability of weapons material though the logistics supply chain which receiving, incoming acceptance, warehousing, inventory management, material movement and shipping.

Position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) granted Q-level security clearance.
