NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:
If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.
Salary Range:
$88,600 - $172,300
*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.

We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Operations & Engineering Lead to partner with our customers and Facilities Planners to define facility system requirements that enable mission function and performance! The selected candidate will plan and direct the execution of projects involving engineered systems, coordinating as needed with customers, leadership and Tactical Planners, to achieve project objectives.
On any given day, you may be called on to:
Plan and direct engineering and technical resources for customer facilities support requirements, coordinating, as required, with work performed in other internal and external organizations.
Work with customers and program managers to define and ensure customer requirements, limitations, and resources are available.
Use engineering judgment to identify potential facilities operational risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, corrective actions, and recommend risk acceptance or avoidance.
Recommend addition, expansion, or discontinuance of projects.
Initiate, design, develop, implement, and evaluate new processes, products, or systems for implementing and integrating optimal facilities solutions.
Use technical background to follow the requirements of a Service Level Agreement (SLA), develop Operating Agreements (OA) as supplemental information to the SLA, and lead teams to develop Real Estate Operations Permits (REOP).
Applicants on this requisition may be interviewed by multiple organizations at Sandia National Laboratories. Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite 100% of the time. This position requires on-call assignments approximately once a week every two months.
Qualifications We Require:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field, Architecture, or Facilities/Building Management, plus five (5) years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience (Master's +1 or Associate's +9).
Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOE L security clearance.
Qualifications We Desire:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Formal credential in Facilities Management, such as: Facilities Management Professional (FMP, IFMA), Certified Facility Manager (CFM, IFMA), Facilities Management Certificate (FMC, BOMI International), Facilities Management Administrator (FMA, BOMI International)
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams with matrixed personnel
Experience using Facilities Management System (i.e. TRIRIGA, Maximo) or similar software systems as well as a database management system, Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
Experience with project support, maintenance planning, and execution for operational buildings and related support facilities
Experience negotiating, writing technical documents, operating agreements, contracts, Facility Use Permits with customers
Experience in lifecycle asset management and energy conservation/reduction for buildings and associated systems.
Manage and complete multiple priorities and ability to clearly communicate the status of policies, reports, and decisions
Active DOE Q/SCI-level security clearance
