NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:

If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.

If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.

Salary Range:

$101,400 - $172,300

*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.

What Your Job Will Be Like:

We are seeking a Manager for the Procurment Policy and Compliance department.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

  • Manage the day-to-day work of a team of Experienced Policy Analysts

  • Develop & maintain all internal procurement policies, resource guides, and work instructions

  • Maintain all ISCM LPS Policies

  • Lead subcontract file review process

  • Lead TEAM & Mentor Corps review processes

  • Lead Labor Law & Compliance processes

  • Interact with both internal and external auditors

  • Interface and partner with SFO Contracting Officers

  • Provide guidance on corrective action plans and cross-functional team work

  • Lead process improvements and efficiency opportunities

  • Interact with Supply Chain Director & Senior Managers as well as executive management across the Labs

  • Partner with Procurement, Legal, Prime Contracts, ES&H, Safeguards & Security, and other programs across the Labs

Qualifications We Require:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline plus eight or more years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance

Qualifications We Desire:

  • Master’s degree in relevant discipline

  • Experience working in a supply chain function

  • In-depth understanding of Procurement processes and applicable regulations

  • Experience working with Prime Contract requirements and ability to translate to subcontract clauses and requirements

  • Experience with business and contract law and the ability to assess proper application

  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations and agency acquisition regulations

  • Experience in determining proper implementation of regulations and policies

  • Experience working with Contracting Officers or other external oversight personnel

  • Two or more years of demonstrated leadership experience

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in determining allowability, allocability and reasonableness of proposed and incurred costs and prices based upon Federal statutes, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Department of Energy Regulations, Cost Accounting Standards, contract terms and other applicable criteria

  • Hands-on experience with researching and writing organizational policy based upon government regulations

  • Certified Public Accountant, Certified Supply Chain Professional, Certified Management Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor or similar professionally recognized credential

  • Exhibit interpersonal skills needed to teach, instruct and advise; to plan and coordinate projects; and to facilitate meetings and negotiations

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Security Clearance:
