Intern - ISE Planning Info/Data Systems - Clerical Union Undergraduate Year-Round

What Your Job Will Be Like:

We are seeking a Year Round - Clerical Union Undergraduate Intern to join our dynamic team.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

• Assist in maintaining the supply rooms/copier rooms for each floor by:

• Re-stock of supply cabinets

• Replace shredder bags as needed

• Replace OUO white bags when full and submit Destruction tickets

• Fill fleet copier trays with paper

• Order paper when needed

• Order supplies for staff and Office Administrative Assistants

• Order water for each floor

• Assist with move arrangements for new staff

• Assist with reapplication tickets

• Assist with Travel Requests

• Assist with Conference Room reservations

• Assist with updating daily calendars for conference rooms, focus rooms, project rooms

• Update Staff Information Badge cards

• Schedule meetings

• Assist with vehicle maintenance, gas, emissions, car washes, etc.

• Take vehicles to and from Fleet Services for maintenance

• Escort staff members and contractors

As a condition of employment, the selected candidate will be represented by the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU), which requires monthly membership dues or agency fees. New hires into an OPEIU represented position will remain in the initial position for twelve (12) months before being eligible to be considered for other Sandia employment.

Qualifications We Require:

You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:

• Currently attending and enrolled full time in an accredited undergraduate program

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5/4.0

• Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer

• U.S. citizenship

Organization 7257 manages the Integrated Stockpile Evaluation (ISE) as a program driven to understand all aspects of stockpile systems to ensure that the nuclear weapon stockpile is known, with increasing certainty to be safe, secure, reliable and effective both now and into the future. ISE integrates a variety of stockpile evaluation programs and focuses on contributing to the transformation of US nuclear weapons stockpile and complex.

Security Clearance:
