Sandia National Laboratories Information Systems Architect (Experienced) in Albuquerque, New Mexico

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Information Systems Architect - Private Cloud Team Member. The selected candidate will serve as an architect for cloud systems, requiring knowledge of and experience with information system domains such as information assurance, hardware, software, networking, and systems security. This position will support the on premise Azure Stack Hub services and capabilities for all of Sandia's corporately supported unclassified and classified networks.
On any given day, you may be called on to:
Work projects and help develop roadmaps for Private Cloud Team.
Work with customers, vendors, and IT partners within our department and across Sandia.
Establish service level agreements and requirements for performance, reliability, and security for Cloud Systems.
Provide administration support for systems that host critical applications and services.
Support full lifecycle management (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, integration and maintenance) for Private Cloud Systems.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field plus 5 or more years of experience, or equivalent experience and/or achievements that demonstrate the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties of the job.
Experience working on programs, projects, services, and/or teams.
Virtualization skills (vmware or hyper-v).
Experience with Azure Stack Hub.
Powershell and Windows System Administration.
Ability to acquire and maintain a DOE Q level clearance
Active DOE Q level security clearance.
Knowledge of Cloud Computing services such as Azure Stack and Azure.
Ability to work on a team to deliver results and meet department objectives.
Ability to develop and nurture effective customer and partner relationships internal and external to a team.
Ability to negotiate and meet technical and programmatic requirements to the satisfaction of the customer in the execution of complex information technology projects.
Experience with 3rd party software for backups, CommVault.
Knowledge of Pure and Dell Isilon storage systems.
Understanding of information system accreditations and cyber security requirements.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Solid Project Management and organizational skills.
Rally or other project management experience.
