NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:
If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.
Salary Range:
$65,300 - $107,800
*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.

The selected candidate will support the management, engineers, and technologists who support a variety of Mission Technologies Programs (e.g., Component Technologies, Explosives, Power Sources, Sandia Production, etc.).
This position is matrixed to provide dedicated support to the specific programmatic areas. Effective teaming, focus on getting things done, commitment to the group's success, analytical skills, and translating results into actions are critical to this role.
On any given day, one may be called upon to:
Survey the current program information and identify corrective actions to adhere to the configuration and information management plans; implement the successful transition of team documents/records from historical tools to the program repositories
Manage and mature team document repositories/tools on both the SRN and SCN
Provide training and consultation to the team on standard procedures and corporate policies; identify and implement process improvements
Work to archive historical configuration items
Organize and distribute requested information to our partners and customers
Support the team in handling and archiving program information
Assure that information is organized and archived to support deployed system(s) for the coming decades
Provide support for program reviews or meetings, including tasks such as managing logistics, coordinating materials, recording action items, and distributing materials post meeting(s)
The selected applicant can be a virtual worker located in any U.S. State or District of Columbia. Regular or periodic travel to your assigned work location may be required.
Qualifications We Require:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Communications, or a relevant field, plus 5 years related experience; or equivalent experience and/or achievements that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job
Experience with data management
An active DOE Q-level security clearance; or other equivalent active security clearance such as DOD Top Secret
Qualifications We Desire:
A Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Communications, or a relevant field
The proven ability to lead and help organize meetings and work successfully in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
Skills in Microsoft, Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, and Confluence
The ability to manage tools and processes to help engineering teams keep documentation on track
Experience working and leading technical staff to organizational success
Experience in configuration management best practices as related to information management
Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent presentation and editing skills

Security Clearance:
Position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q security clearance to start, or equivalent active security clearance with another U.S. government agency (e.g., DOD). Sandia is required by DOE directive to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications. Applicants for employment need to be able to maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Individuals in LTE positions may bid on regular Sandia positions as internal candidates, and in some cases may be converted to regular career positions during their term if warranted by ongoing operational needs, continuing availability of funds, and satisfactory job performance.
