We are seeking a high-energy and highly motivated Human Resources Operations Generalist (Limited Term Employee) to join the HR Operations organization to help HR ensure accuracy, timeliness and excellent service. We provide support to all Sandia employees, candidates and retirees in their moments that matter!
This role will provide front-line customer service via phone and our case management system. This work is performed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and must be done with exceptional customer service and accuracy. This position reports directly to the HR Operations, Customer Service Team Lead.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about and help customers in several functional areas within HR, such as:
Recruiting and staffing

Labor and employee relations
On any given day, you may be called on to:
Respond to both phone and online inquiries from employees and managers at all levels and resolve questions and issues by accessing information in multiple computer systems (including Oracle Service Cloud, PeopleSoft, ProMapp, and MS Word).
Process transactions in support of HR functions, by performing tasks such as collecting required information/documentation and additional information as needed from employees, managers, and/or others in HR; performing data entry; sending documents and correspondence; filing and other administrative tasks.
Assist customers navigating internal resources on self-service and HR technology tools.
Efficiently fulfill commitments by managing workload effectively.
Assist team members as needed.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
In this role, you will work one of the following shifts, at the direction of the Customer Service Team Lead:
M-F: 6:30am-3:00pm; 8:00am-4:30pm; 9:30am-6:00pm
Must be a Sandia approved Exceptional Warrior Career Development Program Candidate.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOE L-level security clearance.
Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, English, Psychology, Marketing/Sales, or related field.
Demonstrated ability to team well with others.
Experience in a shared service environment, verifying employee records, and HRIS systems, PeopleSoft/HCM (preferred), and Oracle Service Cloud.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience in continuous improvement/process improvements.
Ability to protect and keep personally identifiable information (PII), personal health information and other information confidential.
